The leading charity for people with diabetes in the UK invites applications from exceptional allied health professionals, nurses and midwives who wish to undertake research training related to diabetes.
Diabetes UK invites applications for this Fellowship from allied health professionals, nurses and midwives who would like to pursue a PhD in diabetes research.
The Fellowship is for a period of up to three years, however it may be held on a part-time basis over a longer period. The salary will be paid pro-rata and commensurate with the candidate’s salary at the time of appointment and fees for the PhD will be provided at a UK Higher Education rate.
Applicants may apply for up to £14,000 per annum for justifiable research costs and up to £1,500 for relevant training over the period of the award.
